Just got an offer from a professional proofreader in America to proofread my book in English! She has done tons of proofreading and is VERY good! So all I have to do now is re-do the English version so it fits to the new Icelandic version (the proof read and published one) and send it to her! God bless good people! So the plan of having it published here this year in English as well is more than possible, very likely, and I also want to do an e-book “A love affair with God” sounds good no?

Nýjust fréttir: átti afmæli um daginn og varð þrjátíu og eins……. hélt eiginlega ekkert mikið upp á það, nema fá mér smá vín með kallinum og elda villtan lax. En ég er rosalega ánægð með þennan aldur, og finnst þetta ár fram að 32 muni vera alveg spes gott!

Ég hef tuttugu punda seðil frá tengdó í Englandi með mynd af Adam Smith (ósýnilega hönd samkeppninnar og allt það sem hann predíkaði) og Englandsdrottningu. Get ekki beðið eftir að skipta þessu í fallega íslenska peninga, meira hvað Bretarnir eru halló miðað við okkur he he he. Ó ég elska Ísland get bara ekki að því gert.

Er búin að taka annars stigs Reiki gráðuna núna og búin að panta mér nuddbekk sem er víst á leiðinni frá Virginiu “as we speek”, þá er bara að setja herbergið í stand. Það er eins og er ekkert nema stórt hvítt tómt herbergi fyrir utan hillur í horninu undir hvítu laki, sem innihalda allt sem geymsla hefur, þar sem skortur er á geymslu hjá mér. Verkfæri, ryksugan og fleira. Hugmyndin er að gera skilrúm þarna og nota herbergið til að stunda Reiki. Inn á milli mun ég taka málaratímabil og nota herbergið sem stúdíó.  Ekki hægt að gera hvorutveggja því ekki vil ég bjóða viðskiptavinum uppá olíuvímu. Lyktin af olíumálningu og efnunum er anst sterk. David mun reyndar nota herbergið þegar við fáum fólk í Full Body Paint, Airbrush en það er ekkert mál að taka bekkinn í sundur og málningin hans er nánast lyktarlaus.

Bókin er vel á veg komin í rauninn ekkert annað eftir en að hann bókakápuna og ég er með ýmsar hugmyndir. Hvernig væri til dæmis að hafa smá nekt framan á bók sem hefur fyrirsögnina “Ástarsamband við Guð – sönn saga”. Bara hugmynd, en eflaust gæti ég þá ekki selt hana í Kirkjuhúsinu á Laugavegi en ég myndi þó hrista uppí nokkrum prestum þar á meðal pabba! Bara ein af mínum ýktu hugmyndum sem að sjálfsögðu verður hrint í framkvæmd! Jíha!

Okay things are really on a roll, got in touch with a publisher and have had the book proofread!!!

Also got a promotion at work hurray!!!!!!!!!!! so pretty busy at the moment with that (as well!).

Anyway, I will not ask anyone to try and fund me, have that pretty much covered but the main thing will be to SPREAD THE WORD (about the book that is)

So the book will be published soon, main thing now is to design the cover, working on that…..

Hi everyone, will make this simple and write in English, although I see that 90% of readership is from Iceland, all the same you understand English anyway…..

My book will be published soon in Icelandic as a paperback. If anyone is interested in helping me fund the project, please e-mail me and let me know so I can send you the bank details. Even if you consider it a loan that would help since I will get the money back when the book gets sold, already few people have reserved a copy and I’ve got a big family so there will be some arm twisting there! Also I plan on getting in touch with people, get to read out of it and sell. In my nursing home I will also be able to advertise a bit and sell there. Then there are the bookstores of course! But it probably wont sell so much until Christmas.

I will only publish a few at a time, to keeps costs at a minimum. So if you get in touch with me via this site or e-mail I can give you a 10% discount on a copy and it would really help me. If you like to buy a few I will even home deliver as long as you are in Reykjavík. Since my book is coming out as a “real book”, I will remove it from the posterous site as a blog. It has been changed so much anyway, spelling, grammar and the name is also different: “Love affair with God – true story” “Ástarsamband við Guð – sönn saga” Cool name or what ha? (ha ha ha).

I want to really welcome the new English speaking friends that have been reading here and I am going to post an English audio soon so they can here how I sound, and my terrible accent

Ég er hjúkrunarfræðingur (eins og nafnið á síðunni bendir til), listmálari (ef list skal kalla), rithöfundur (óútgefin verk), tamningarmaður (sjálfmenntuð) og Reiki heilari (reyndar bara búin með fyrsta stig) auk þess er ég trúboði (í eigin landi), móðir (já þetta er alveg rétt!) og eiginkona (reyndar ekki búin að gera kirkjudæmið en samt……..).

Ég er manneskja sem er eins og þess síða, í “vinnslu” og ef þér líður sem þú sért þannig líka þá á það kannski vel við þig að kíkja á þessa síðu!

I am a nurse (like the name of the site suggests), an artist (if it can be called art), an author (unpublished….), a horse trainer (self educated), Reiki healer (only finished the first degree though), a missionary (in my own country) and a mother (yes correct!), a wife (except haven’t done the church thingy………..)
